Your Road, My Street

Photographer Lizzie Coombes, Storyteller Matthew Bellwood, and Academic Dr David Dawson

A walk down Meanwood Road with a new alternative map of the road that’s the result of collaboration with Lizzie, Matthew, and David. The map is the result of a research project on how we can ‘humanise’ the road as it leads out of our city, and is intended to reveal the community of the street where people live and work. Some research for this map was gathered during Meanwood Festival’s Fun Day last year and everyone on the walk will receive a copy. The walk is intended to go from the Primrose Pub via the bandstand on The Ridge and into Meanwood. Cameras and dogs welcome.

Meeting outside the Primrose Pub, 280 Meanwood Road, LS7 2HZ.
